How we evaluated 203 outbound sales emails
How did we evaluate results from 203 sales emails?
P2GM's four-week validation produced seven qualified replies, two meetings and two deals from 203 sends. With sends as the denominator, the qualified reply rate was about 3.4%; meeting and deal rates were each about 1.0%. These are results under specific conditions, not AI-only outcomes or general benchmarks.

Counts and rates from a four-week initial validation
We supported P2GM's customer development for four weeks and sent 203 messages. There were seven qualified replies, two meetings and two deals.

| Measure | Count | Rate using 203 sends as the denominator |
|---|---|---|
| Qualified replies | 7 | 7 ÷ 203 × 100 ≈ 3.4% |
| Meetings | 2 | 2 ÷ 203 × 100 ≈ 1.0% |
| Deals | 2 | 2 ÷ 203 × 100 ≈ 1.0% |
This example reflects a particular offering, target companies, timing, wording and staff responses. It cannot be used as a general sales-email benchmark or to predict other engagements.
Define replies, meetings and deals before aggregation
Replies include automated responses, absence notices, opt-outs and expressions of interest. In this validation, a qualified reply was one useful for the next sales decision.
Meetings were counted when a date was confirmed; deals were counted when a contract was reached. Without consistent definitions, figures before and after changes to recipients or wording cannot be compared.
Record pre-send exclusion reasons
MAILGORI researches public information, organizes the reason for a proposal and drafts the message. Sending to companies that do not meet the criteria does not improve reply quality.
Record exclusions such as refusal of sales contact, business mismatch or other disqualifying conditions. Use these alongside post-send counts to revise prospect selection.
Include human work through the deal stage
AI supported research and drafting; P2GM staff handled meetings and proposals. Confirming the recipient's problems and adjusting the proposal were also part of the process leading to a deal.
We therefore do not attribute the two deals solely to AI. We evaluate AI-assisted preparation, human review and meeting work together.
Examine differences between conditions in the next trial
One engagement's results cannot be applied directly to another industry or offering. In the next validation, record industry, target criteria, proposal triggers and staff review time to examine which conditions changed the results.
